Jona Foundation – Vision für Uganda e. V. is recognised as charitable and exempt from corporation tax for promoting development cooperation (sec. 52 (2) sentence 1 no. 15 of the German Fiscal Code, AO). The competent authority is the tax office Cologne-Mitte; charitable status was most recently confirmed by notice of tax exemption dated 18.02.2026 for the years 2022 to 2024. Donations to the association are tax-deductible in Germany – we issue donation receipts using the official template.
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law, pursuant to sec. 7 (1) of the German Digital Services Act (DDG). Under secs. 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored on our site, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity.
