Birthday
Ask for support instead of presents. You decide what the money goes to: clean water, medicine, school supplies or meals.
As an ambassador you carry our work into your world — with your own fundraiser, your voice or your reach. How is up to you. Materials, support and pictures from Mityana come from us.
Our network spans many regions and connects very different people: freelancers, digital nomads, bloggers, employees, students. They share just one thing — they pass on what is growing in Mityana.
We will happily set up your own fundraising campaign, tailored to you and your circle. Just as well, you can join one of our running campaigns and simply share your link. Both work, both help.
Reach is not a criterion. Twenty people who really listen to you move more than twenty thousand who scroll on.
Guests of RTL — Wir helfen Kindern in Cologne: their employee project turned into funding for our work in Mityana. Carried forward by people who talked about it.
A conversation in passing, a stall at the summer fair, a campaign of your own — there is no prescribed way.
No ad copy sounds as convincing as someone speaking from conviction. Just be yourself.
Tried out by other ambassadors. Take one, combine them or invent your own.
Ask for support instead of presents. You decide what the money goes to: clean water, medicine, school supplies or meals.
Poker, board games, a quiz — invite friends and collect a contribution for the children in Mityana instead of a stake.
A flyer on the desk, a paragraph in the internal newsletter, a post on the intranet. Colleagues are often the easiest place to start.
You made it to graduation. Celebrate by opening the way to school for other children.
Cook for friends and raise money for meals in Mityana. Every plate at your table becomes a plate there.
There is more unused clothing in the wardrobe than you think. Flea market, garage sale or selling online — the proceeds go into the project.
Getting married? Congratulations. Dedicate part of your gifts to a campaign and pass the joy of the day on.
This is how Juliette did it →Marathon, city run, bike tour or a ride out: you cover the distance, your circle donates for it.
This is how Johanna did it →Got your own idea? Put it in the form below — we will build the campaign around it.

On their wedding day, Juliette and Mert donated the sum that would otherwise have gone into wedding favours to the Jona Foundation. On every place setting lay a postcard with a QR code instead — leading to a small page of their own explaining what the money would do.
Part of it became cake, music and a little celebration for the children in Mityana. The rest went into the kindergarten. The guests later got to see pictures — and with them an answer to the question that usually stays open: what actually came of it?
Instead of a favour — with one sentence on the why.
A landing page showing where the money goes.
Cake, laughter, shining eyes — from Mityana.
Juliette & Mert on their wedding day — and the celebration it became in Mityana.
Johanna Littmeier turned something from her own life into a campaign: a sponsored ride over 30 kilometres. Whoever wanted to ride along gathered supporters beforehand; whoever was not in the saddle donated for the distance.
The proceeds go to our next project, the medical and school truck that will soon be on Uganda’s roads. That is exactly the strength of campaigns like this: they connect something someone loves anyway with a concrete goal — and suddenly a ride out moves more than itself.

A birthday, a company run, a garden flea market, a backyard concert — we have yet to hear an idea that would not have worked. Tell us yours and we will build the campaign around it.
Submit your ideaPhotos, flyers, figures and ready-made text you can use straight away — plus a fixed contact person with us.
If you like, we set up your own donation page with your name and your goal. All you do is share the link.
A thank-you card, a souvenir from Uganda and a shoutout on our channels — if that is fine with you.
The most important part: photos and videos of what happened with the donations you raised.
All income openly available → Annual reports & transparency
A few lines about you and how you would like to get involved. Two minutes, that is all it takes.
Once confirmed, we start together: with materials, your campaign if you want one, and regular updates.
Share our work, organise a campaign or raise funds for a concrete goal. You set the pace and the scale yourself.
Tell us a little about yourself. We usually get back to you personally within a few days.
No. Most of our ambassadors have no public profile — they have a circle of friends, a team at the office or a club. Personal storytelling works more reliably than any follower count.
We create a campaign page with your name, your occasion and your goal. You get a link to share. Donations go directly to the Jona Foundation, so you never collect or forward money yourself.
No and no. There is no membership fee, no minimum amount and no fixed term. If the timing stops working for you, just let us know — that is it.
Yes. The Jona Foundation is a registered charity, donations are tax-deductible, and the receipt is sent automatically as soon as an address is provided with the donation.
There is a route of its own for that. The page corporate partnership describes what a collaboration can look like.
